You can choose to carry out the installation yourself or have it done by an experienced technician from Mooiwater. If you’d like to do it yourself, we’ll send the device to you and ensure that all the necessary parts are delivered to your address. We’ll also provide a handy QR code so you can easily read and follow the self-installation guide. This will help you avoid connecting the device incorrectly.

Dispatch of the Excellent Grande
When you come to collect the water softener, we’ll give you another 4 buckets of salt free of charge! Would you like some more salt with that? If so, you can order here. The Excellent Grande is not dispatched by post, but will be delivered en route by a Mooiwater technician in consultation with you. This means that, just as when you collect the unit yourself, you’ll receive 4 buckets of salt with your order! The water softener itself also comes with an installation manual, connection fittings, a water hardness test kit and a bottle of resin cleaner.
The installation of a water softener
When it comes to installing a water softener, you have two options. You could do it all yourself, or have it done by a Mooiwater installer.
The installation itself
If you’d like to do it yourself, we’ll send the device to you and ensure that all the necessary parts are delivered to your address. We’ll also provide a handy QR code so you can easily read and follow the self-installation guide. This will help you avoid connecting the device incorrectly.
Installation by Mooiwater
If you choose to have the system installed by a Mooiwater installer, we will work with you to find a suitable time for the installation. We aim to complete the installation within 2 to 4 weeks. The installation fee is €250. The price is iIncluding all labour and materials for installation in the meter cupboard. If the unit needs to be installed outside the meter cupboard, we charge a maximum of €90 on top of the standard installation price. If you have your water softener installed by Mooiwater, you’ll also receive salt; the amount of salt depends on which unit you’ve purchased.
