The Excellent MiniMax water softener is ideal for any household! Thanks to its separate compartments, it is perfectly suited for installation in the meter cupboard. The water softener has been nicknamed the ‘hanging water softener’. It earned this name because it is the only water softener in our range that can be hung up in the meter cupboard.
The MiniMax has two separate compartments: one resin tank and one salt container. The salt container has a capacity of 20 kg.

The water softener is supplied including 2 connection hoses, a water hardness test kit, a bottle of resin cleaner and (if we’re delivering en route) two buckets of salt as well.
Installation by yourself or by Mooiwater
You can choose to carry out the installation yourself or have it done by an experienced technician from Mooiwater. If you’d like to do it yourself, we’ll send the device to you and ensure that all the necessary parts are delivered to your address. We’ll also provide a handy QR code so you can easily read and follow the self-installation guide. This will help you avoid connecting the device incorrectly.

Shipping of the Excellent MiniMax
There are no delivery charges for the Excellent MiniMax. The water softener itself comes with an installation guide, connection fittings, a water hardness test kit and a bottle of resin cleaner. If you come to collect the water softener, we’ll also give you 25kg of salt. free! Would you like some more salt with that? If so, you can order here. If you order the Excellent MiniMax before 3.00 pm, we can post it the very same day and send it to you. In principle, you can expect to receive the water softener the next working day, but if this isn’t the case, you’ll receive it at your home within two working days at the latest.
The installation of a water softener
When it comes to installing a water softener, you have two options. You could do it all yourself, or have it done by a Mooiwater installer.
The installation itself
If you’d like to do it yourself, we’ll send the device to you and ensure that all the necessary parts are delivered to your address. We’ll also provide a handy QR code so you can easily read and follow the self-installation guide. This will help you avoid connecting the device incorrectly.
Installation by Mooiwater
If you choose to have the system installed by a Mooiwater installer, we will work with you to find a suitable time for the installation. We aim to complete the installation within 2 to 4 weeks. The installation fee is €250. The price is iIncluding all labour and materials for installation in the meter cupboard. If the unit needs to be installed outside the meter cupboard, we charge a maximum of €90 on top of the standard installation price. If you have your water softener installed by Mooiwater, you’ll also receive salt; the amount of salt depends on which unit you’ve purchased.
