Comfort range
The Comfort Line is our entry-level range, comprising two highly compact models that do everything necessary to produce 100% limescale-free water. Although they are priced slightly more affordably, they are fully equipped with features including a digital display, an integrated bypass and holiday mode, and their service life and warranty are just as long as those of the more expensive models.
Excellent range
The Excellent range is the best-selling series, comprising five models ranging from very compact to large. They feature useful and highly functional extras such as a reminder when you need to top up the salt, an automatic holiday (hygiene) mode, over-flow protection and a removable digital display.
Premium range
The Premium range is the most comprehensive series, comprising four models. They feature luxury extras such as an illuminated salt container, an active cleaning function (chlorine) and a touchscreen display. The Premium MiniMax even has an electronic bypass function.
MiniMax models
The Minimax models consist of two separate parts which are very compact, making them easier to fit into tight meter cupboards. The name says it all: minimum size with maximum capacity. Installation water softener
If you decide to buy a water softener, you’ll naturally want it to be fitted properly and professionally. You can choose to fit the water softener yourself or have one of our technicians do it for you. We have technicians throughout the Netherlands.
The Mooiwater water softeners are compact, so they’ll almost always fit where you want them. We even have wall-mounted water softeners in our range. Many people prefer to have the water softener installed in the meter cupboard, and that’s no problem at all with our models. Of course, you can also choose to install the water softener in, for example, the stair cupboard, the cellar or the crawl space. We’d be happy to help you decide on the best location for your water softener.

Where does the limescale go in a water softener?
The water softener filters the limescale out of the water and traps it in the softening salt. During the process, the water softener flushes the limescale away down the drain along with the excess salt. This ensures that no limescale is left behind in your pipes and appliances, and you can enjoy wonderfully soft water.
What is the difference between a water softener and a water descaler?
There is no difference between a water softener and a water descaler. They are the same products, just with different names.
Is it worth softening cold water?
Yes. Cold water also contains just as much calcium and magnesium as hot water. At home, it is often heated anyway, for example in the coffee machine or the dishwasher, where limescale build-up still occurs. In addition, over time, cold water leaves limescale marks, such as the build-up in your toilet bowl. This is because the water evaporates and the dissolved limescale remains behind.
Is a mechanical or an electric water softener better?
