Regeneration salt for rinsing your water softener
Order regeneration salt
A real water softener uses regeneration salt to rinse the resin in the water softener. Regeneration salt is also commonly known as water-softening salt.
In our online shop You can order regeneration salt in handy 12.5-kilogram buckets. You can simply tip these buckets straight into your water softener. This means you don’t have to lug around heavy and awkward bags of salt. What’s more, the buckets are easy to stack and therefore take up very little space. Once they’re empty, you can simply nest them inside one another.
Free delivery of regeneration salt
From 8 buckets water softening salt You won’t pay any delivery charges, and we’ll deliver the buckets to your home. When we deliver the buckets to you, we’ll take the empty ones back with us. We use reusable buckets with a deposit. As well as being cost-effective, this is, of course, sustainable too.
We deliver on a scheduled route and do so within 4 weeks. In other words, you’ll have a new supply of salt within 4 weeks. The best thing to do is to order a new supply when you’ve reached your last bucket of salt, so that you receive your new supply on time. You can also collect the buckets of salt yourself from our branch at Dronten.
Regeneration salt by post
If you’d like to order a small quantity of regeneration salt, we can also post it to you, provided you order at least two buckets. This is a bit more expensive, but it means you won’t have to lug it around.
Pure salt
Please note! Not all types of salt are suitable for use in your water softener. For example, never use table salt in your water softener. This salt is not pure enough. In contrast, the Mooiwater regeneration salt (NaCl) meets all quality requirements. Our salt has a purity of at least 99.9% and is suitable for all types of water softeners. It also complies with European standards for domestic water softening salt.

Is regeneration salt bad for the environment?
We are, of course, often asked this question. But salt in itself is not, of course, harmful to the environment. For example, in an average winter, around 100 million kilos of road salt is spread on the roads. This, too, does not cause any environmental problems.
Nevertheless, at Mooiwater we do our very best to minimise salt consumption with our water softeners. That is why our Mooiwater softeners are the most economical on the market.
Corporate Social Responsibility
By utilising the latest technologies, our water softeners are highly efficient, with the lowest water and salt consumption. In 2020, we were awarded the CSR quality mark in accordance with ISO 26000 for Corporate Social Responsibility.
