What is low water pressure?

By law, the water pressure in your home must be at least 1.5 bar. Although water companies are legally obliged to guarantee this minimum pressure, most aim to ensure that the water pressure entering your home is at least 2 bar.

A pressure of between 1.5 and 2 bar is generally sufficient to get water flowing throughout the house. However, it isn’t a particularly high pressure, especially if, for example, you have a rain shower.

How do I increase the water pressure in my home?

To increase the water pressure in your home, you can purchase a water pressure booster. A water pressure booster ensures that you have good water pressure throughout your home. Mooiwater offers two different pressure boosters. First up is the Mooiwater Mini Booster, a compact and relatively inexpensive water pressure booster that increases the water pressure in your home by 1.2 bar. The second is the Esybox Mini. This pressure booster ensures a constant water pressure in your home up to a maximum of 5.5 bar.
