MYTH: The finer the wax, the more effective the hair removal

Water softeners Those that use resin remove the calcium from the water by means of ion exchange. This might get a bit technical now, but the bottom line is that the calcium²⁺ and magnesium²⁺ be exchanged with sodium⁺. The size of the resin beads has no bearing on this. The efficiency of a water softener is determined by the amount of salt used for backwashing. The less salt required for backwashing, the more efficient the system.

100% high-efficiency water softener
