Mooiwater ‘Company of the Year’

At the 2023 New Year’s Party organised by the De Driehoek Business Association (OVDD), Mooiwater, part of Dronten, received the TOP Business of the Year award. Mooiwater is the fastest-growing brand of water softeners in the Netherlands, where the jury was impressed by its innovative, affordable products and social commitment.

The jury were very enthusiastic!

Key points highlighted by the jury:

• The jury: “Dick is always coming up with new ideas. He’s simply an inventor.”
• There is a sustainably developed product. .
• Sponsoring local and regional activities and collaborating with organisations such as Aeres University of Applied Sciences are examples of the company’s social commitment. The company is CSR-certified. Corporate social responsibility is an intrinsic motivation for the director and shareholders.
• Investment is being made in the company: product development (such as the easy-to-install hanging water softener and special dishwasher powder), continuous improvements, and business growth.
• The focus is on products that help improve the environment and increase profitability. For example, by introducing a deposit-and-return scheme for the buckets.
• The company has grown to become a major player in the market in a relatively short space of time.
• In addition to B2C, the company now also operates in the B2B sector, which expands its reach.
• Customer experience is a top priority. Many customers come to us through word of mouth.

As well as being named Company of the Year, Mooiwater has, for three years running, been a Gazelle Award received for the fastest-growing company.
