FABEL: De waterhardheid van leidingwater verandert regelmatig<\/h1>\n

Het water dat bij je uit de kraan komt is heel erg stabiel van samenstelling. Dit komt omdat waterleidingbedrijven er alles aan doen om dit zo stabiel mogelijk te houden. Zij worden namelijk streng gecontroleerd op alle afspraken die in het Waterbesluit zijn vastgelegd. De waterhardheid verandert daarom ook bijna nooit. De belangrijkste reden voor een veranderende waterhardheid is wanneer het waterbedrijf overstapt op een andere waterbron. Aangezien dit bijna nooit gebeurt, zal het ook zelden voorkomen dat jouw waterhardheid<\/a> significant wijzigt.<\/p>\n

Kleine wijzigingen van bijvoorbeeld 0,1 dH zijn wel mogelijk daarom hanteren de waterleidingbedrijven ook een bandbreedte van vaak 0,2-0,3 dH in hun waterhardheid.<\/p>\n

Wat als de waterhardheid verandert?<\/h2>\n

Een waterontharder onthard het water naar 0 dH (tenzij er een resthardheid<\/a> is ingesteld), onafhankelijk van de kleine schommelingen die er zich in de hardheid van het water voordoen. Alleen als de hardheid ineens fors zou toe- of afnemen zal een waterontharder bijgesteld moeten worden. Dit is een minimale ingreep. Dus als je ooit een brief ontvangt van jouw waterleidingmaatschappij ontvangt waarin aangekondigd wordt dat de waterhardheid wijzigt, dan bel je ons en passen wij het systeem aan. Gelukkig gebeurt dit bijna nooit.<\/p>\n

Resthardheid instellen<\/h2>\n

Bij minder kalk heeft u er natuurlijk minder last van en duurt het langer voordat uw apparatuur verkalkt is en uw badkamer niet meer glanst. Maar dat gaat wel gebeuren! En waarom schaft u eigenlijk een ontharder aan? Om de kalk volledig te verwijderen toch?<\/p>\n

Indien u desondanks een resthardheid wilt behouden (bijvoorbeeld resthardheid 3dH) dan kunnen wij dat zonder enig probleem voor u regelen.<\/p>\n

Onze ontharders zijn namelijk standaard voorzien van een mixventiel waarmee wij elke resthardheid kunnen instellen. Dus indien u dit wenst dan doen we dat.<\/p>\n
