Dat is maar hoe je het bekijkt. Als je het vergelijkt met het buitenland dan hebben we weinig kalk in het water in Nederland. Echter wil dat niet zeggen dat je geen last meer hebt van kalk in jouw leiding water.<\/p>\n

In Nederland wordt de hardheid van het water uitgedrukt in dH (Duitse Hardheid). Als de hardheid 1dH is bevat het water 17,8 gram kalk\/m3 (1m3 = 1000 liter).<\/p>\n

De gemiddelde waterhardheid<\/a> in Nederland is ongeveer 8dH. Bij 8dH bevat het leidingwater dus 8 x 17,8 = 142,4 gram kalk\/m3.<\/p>\n

Stel je verbruikt een heel gemiddelde hoeveelheid van 150m3 water per jaar. Dit levert per jaar ruim 21 kg kalk op! Je kunt je wel voorstellen wat dat voor uitwerking heeft op je leidingen, waterkoker, wasmachine, koffiezetapparaat, etc.<\/p>\n

Dus bevat Nederlands leidingwater weinig kalk? Vergeleken met het buitenland wel maar er zit meer dan genoeg kalk in om er veel last van te hebben.<\/p>\n
